It's something that causes confusion...dress codes. Ok, I'm not a sort of rebel that doesn't accept a business man in a company wearing a suit, or a bride wearing a formal dress, or people caring a bit for their image. I just don't understand when that becomes fanatism, and perhaps when that makes people label each other. I understand that looking good is nice and even healthy but why does society establishes so many rules and so many of them unnecessary about clothing? Why must we attend a weading, a job interview for a company without sneakers? Why must we use a certain kind of clothes when we're 20's and another when we're 30's? I'm I not a grown-up unless I wear high heels? If I'm 24 and my regular dress code is jeans, a t-shirt and sneakers, does that make me not a woman, am I still a kid and for that I'm I not supposed to be respected as a mature person? Am I not a good doctor, engineer, teacher, (translator!haha) unless I dress like society is expecting me to? Then why are designers, artists, musicians able to dress like they want to and are not (much) criticised for it?
Well, maybe I should be a musician or remain forever a kid :)
